REST & BE THANKFUL - Rum Long Pond ITP 1998

THE PROCESS

This rum is distilled at the famous Long Pond Distillery in Jamaica. It bears the ITP quality mark, which indicates, among other things, distillation in a pot still and a target ester content at the still of between 90 and 120 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol. Distilled in 1998, this rum was aged for over 24 years in an old bourbon cask, initially in a tropical climate before being transported to Scotland for the second part of maturation. Bottled in Scotland in September 2022 in 178 copies. Dye free and cask strength.
