SAKURAO - SINGLE MALT JAPANESE WHISKY

THE PROCESS

After years of tradition in the field of sake, sochu and gin, Sakurao Distillery released its first Single Malt Whiskey in 2021. The Single Malt Whiskey is the result of distilling in a special kettle with the aim of a soft, fruity and fresh whiskey. This is further stimulated by the use of five different casks including bourbon, sherry and the special Mizunara cask. The latter cask is extremely rare and gives the whiskey extra character. The whiskey has matured for at least 3 years and has a strength of 43% alcohol.

TASTE PROFILE

Citrus, vanilla and a hint of smoke.

HOW TO DRINK:

Pure or with a few drops of water.
