CLONAKILTY - Minke Irish Gin

THE PROCESS

Ireland's local coastline, located on the Atlantic Ocean, is home to the unique botanical plant Rock Samphire that gives Minke gin its distinct flavour profile. In addition to Rock Samphire, other botanicals are added such as, lavender, citrus, cardamom and lemon verbena. The base spirit used to make Minke Gin is produced on the family farm near Galley Head where a velvety smooth texture and mouthfeel is created to every drop.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose mainly fresh and dry, on the palate fresh flavours of fruit emerge with some green fennel-like notes. The finish has hints of salt and red peppercorns.

HOW TO DRINK:

In a cocktail like a Gin & Tonic with lime or lemon.
