THE PROCESS

This new whisky from the Sakurao Distillery is everything you could wish for in a Japanese whisky. It is part of the Stillman's Selection, which is a selection made by all distillers at the distillery. In this selection, the distillery team chooses a number of barrels to taste, and from these selected barrels they vote anonymously for one barrel that they want to bottle together.

The chosen Single Malt whisky is aged on sherry casks.

Only 36 bottles available in the Netherlands.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose, a pleasant aroma of smoke and barrels, along with lingering scents of deep sweetness. On the palette, complex flavors of raisins, oranges and peaches emerge. The finish offers a vanilla-like sweetness with moderate bitterness and acidity.

Neat or on the rocks.
