THE PROCESS

The Pioneers is an innovative new project by Berry Bros & Rudd in which they sought out the 10 most progressive distilleries in terms of sustainability. Each distillery has its own challenges and with them its own solutions.

Westland Distillery in America is a major Single Malt producer, but they too see added value in sustainability both for the world and flavor. For these reasons, Westland is developing sustainable barley. The Berry Bros & Rudd Westland Single Malt is a Single Cask aged in madeira casks. Only 207 bottles were made of it at an alcohol content of 55%.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose apricot and red fruit. On the palate apricot jam, mango and toffee. The finish is long and gives chocolate and nuts.
