THE PROCESS

The Pioneers is an innovative new project by Berry Bros & Rudd in which they sought out the 10 most progressive distilleries in terms of sustainability. Each distillery has its own challenges and with them its own solutions. This series includes a bottling from Agitator in Sweden that lowers the air pressure in the kettle to reduce the need to heat the kettle, but Glenwyvis is also doing a lot about sustainability. The distillery uses wind, solar and hydro energy in their distillery, but what is most special is the way they bring the local residents of Dingwall together by letting them share in the ownership of the distillery.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose citrus fruit and vanilla. On the palate lemon, orange marmelade and toffee. The finish is lingering long and flavorful.

Neat.
