BERRY BROS & RUDD - SC Strathclyde 2005 #106488

THE PROCESS

Berry Bros & Rudd is England's oldest independent bottler, having been around since 1698. The company has become known for the quality wines and Single Cask whisky’s they select.

Strathclyde Distillery is one of the largest distilleries in Scotland, but due to producing only grain and therefore no Single Malt, few Whiskylovers are familiar with their distillery. The focus on grain enables them to produce top-quality Single Grain, as you will experience with tasting this Single Grain. The whisky has been aged for 18 years and matured in a Barrel. The long aging makes the whisky vastly rich in flavour. Only 215 bottles were bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% alcohol.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose, coconut, peach and banana bread. On the palate, vanilla, chocolate and some tasty coconut. The finish is long and flavourful.
