Berry Bros & Rudd is England's oldest independent bottler, having been around since 1698. The company has become known for the quality wines and Single Cask whiskies they select.
The Single Cask whisky is high-end, limited availability and starts from a price point around €85. Therefore, Berry Bros & Rudd wanted to create an affordable, flavorful whisky that is always available. This range currently includes two whiskies, one of which is this Islay Single Malt.
The Hebridean island of Islay is known for the distinctive peaty style and smoky flavors of its whiskies. This whisky has been aged on ex-bourbon barrels for several years and comes from one of the most loved Islay Distillery.
On the nose, you smell campfire smoke and fruit. On the palate, you encounter flavours of apple, caramel and campfire smoke. The finish is long and flavourful.
