THE PROCESS

El Tequileño 1959 Reposado is made from Blue Agave from the highlands of Jalisco. During the fermentation process yeast cells are used that come from the nearby mango trees. After distillation, this Reposado Gran Reserva tequila is placed on American oak for 8 months and as a finishing touch, the tequila is blended with the Reserve Añejo tequila.

TASTE PROFILE

In the nose banana, vanilla, nutmeg and caramel. Beautiful wood tones on the pallet in combination with vanilla, spices and toffee. The finish a small hint of nuts and a long aftertaste.
