El Tequileño 1959 Platinum 70cl

THE PROCESS

A tequila that, like all other Tequila from El Tequileño, is made from Blue Agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. The use of yeast cells from the nearby mango trees gives the tequila extra complexity. The tequila is distilled twice in a copper pot still, after which it is placed on American oak for 14 days.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose roasted agave and notes of black pepper jump out of the glass. On the palate agave, anise and herbs. The finish is long and smooth
