EL TEQUILEÑO TEQUILA - 1959 Añejo

THE PROCESS

El Tequileño 1959 Gran Reserva Anejo Tequila is traditionally made from blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco, cooked in autoclaves with open fermentation. Pure volcanic spring water from the extinct Volcan de Tequila is used and then distilled in copper stills. Maturation is in American and French oak barrels. El Tequileño is a leader in Tequila sustainability. 98% of all by-products are reused in the distillery and agave fields.

The Añejo is made in limited batches each year and is therefore only available for a few months each year.
