Noble Coyote Mezcal

Noble Coyote Mezcal

Noble Coyote is a premium mezcal from the birthplace of mezcal - the village of San Luis Amatlán in Oaxaca, Mexico. It uses four different varieties of agave Espadín, Tobalá, Jabalí and, of course, Coyote. These are used to make four magical single-origin mezcals by hand. Noble Coyote's Maestro Mezcaleros carefully select the best wild and semi-wild agaves and use the knowledge passed down to them from generation to generation to meticulously cook and distil Artesanal mezcals with complex flavour profiles that set the superior mezcals apart from the rest of the pack. Each bottle of Mezcal Noble Coyote identifies the Maestro Mezcalero who made the mezcal, the village where it was made, the type of agave used and the lot and bottle number. The Maestro Mezcaleros are also named on the labels as a guarantee to you that they are committed to the authenticity of their ancient craft. Each of Noble Coyotes distinctive and unique mezcals reflects the spirit of the clever, cunning and mystical coyote.

The name Noble Coyote derives from the mythical creature, the Coyote. The creature can appear in different shapes and this alines to the agave plant, which can also appear in numerous different shapes and sizes.

Noble Coyote Mezcal is concerned with the sustainability of mezcal and is proactively involved in ensuring its future. Among other things, they have established and maintain a wild agave seed bank. They also grow species and varieties of wild agave and devote much effort to reforesting the land with wild agave. Noble Coyote is committed to giving something back to the earth.
