Located in Gascony, Armagnac De Montal has a rich history. In 1620, the estate was built by the Roquelaure family. Years later, the estate became the property of King Louis XV, now Armagnac de Montal is again privately owned by a French family.
De Montal's armagnac is made from several grape varieties including Colombard, Folle Blanche, Baco and the Ugni Blanc. The estate is home to three stills called Athos, Portos and Aramis. With these, Armagnac de Montal makes the finest possible armagnac. In their cellars you can find armagnac dating back to 1898, furthermore they have a nice stock of many different vintages.
