BERRY BROS & RUDD - SC Ardmore Madeira Finish 2009 #709316

THE PROCESS

Berry Bros & Rudd is England's oldest independent bottler, having been around since 1698. The company has become known for the quality wines and Single Cask whisky’s they select.

The Ardmore Distillery is located in the highlands, but if they ever move the distillery a few metres to the west, it could easily become a Speyside Distillery. Established in 1898, the distillery has been in several hands since then, currently Beam Suntory is the happy owner. In recent years, Ardmore has built a reputation for its rich, full-bodied whiskies that have smoky undertones. In this Single Cask from Berry Bros & Rudd, you can expect plenty of flavours again, especially with the addition of maturation in a madeira cask. This 14-year-old Singel Malt Single Cask has brought a total of 245 bottles at a cask strength of 53.6% alcohol.

TASTE PROFILE
